Teacher - Career & Technology Studies and TBD Senior High Classes

Mamawi Atosketan Native School is looking for a creative, highly motivated and consistent individual to fill a full time position in Career and Technology Studies and TBD Senior high classes from Aug. 1, 2023-June 30, 2024. The successful candidate will possess knowledge skills and attributes in either Welding, Carpentry, or Auto Mechanics and ideally will possess a journeyman’s license as well. Candidates with significant working experience in those trades may also be considered. The candidate must have (or be able to obtain) Alberta Teaching Certification and SDA Teaching Certification. Familiarity with working within an Indigenous community and Trauma Informed Practices in Education would be considered an asset. Mamawi Atosketan Native School (K-12) is located in Ponoka County and serves students from Samson First Nation, Ermineskin First Nation, Louis Bull Tribe and Montana First Nation.
