Ontario Conference
The Ontario Conference Office of Education is looking for substitute teachers for each of our schools in London, Mississauga, Mount Hope (Hamilton), North York, Oshawa, Ottawa, Pickering and Windsor.
Application Details:
Successful candidates for the above position will have:
- A minimum of a bachelors degree
- A minimum of one to three years’ of current experience working with children
- Be an independent thinker, have strong leadership qualities, and a passion for teaching
- Have a love for students and commitment to Adventist education by example
- Excellent communication skills and experience in teaching students of varying abilities
- Excellent administrative and classroom management skills
- A commitment to offering an academic program with high expectations, yet also an ability to address the needs of all students
- A firm commitment as a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Documented ability to work legally in Canada (citizenship or permanent residence)
