The Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church – Office of Education is seeking a dynamic, creative Christ-like individual to work as a Part-time Multi-Grade Elementary Teacher at Crawford Adventist Academy Peel Campus (CAA Peel). CAA Peel is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Successful candidates for the above position will ideally have the following:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- A minimum of one to three years’ experience.
- Ontario certification and eligibility for SDA certification.
- A passion for teaching, and a love for students.
- The ability to work effectively with staff.
- A willingness to be mentored.
- Commitment to Adventist education by example.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in teaching students of varying abilities.
- Excellent administrative and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to offering an academic program with high expectations while accommodating students with varying needs and abilities.
- A firm commitment as a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Current police vulnerable sector check for employment (dated within the last six months).
- Documented ability to work legally in Canada (citizenship or permanent residence).
