Position Summary

FVAA is seeking a spiritually‑grounded, visionary principal to lead our school into its next chapter of growth. The ideal candidate will champion Adventist education, support academic excellence, cultivate a vibrant Christian school culture, and build strong partnerships with staff, families, church leaders, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

·  Provide spiritual leadership and model Christlike character.

·  Ensure academic programs align with BC Ministry and Adventist curriculum standards.

·  Support, mentor, and guide faculty and staff toward instructional excellence.

·  Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging school environment.

·   Collaborate effectively with families, the School Board, the BC Conference, and community partners.

·  Oversee operations including budgeting, planning, and policy implementation.

Qualifications

·  Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.

·  Valid BC teaching certification (or eligibility) and SDA certification.

·  Minimum 5 years of educational leadership experience.

·  Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

·  Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

·  Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and student success.
